As Dirty Harry said, nothing wrong with shooting, long as the right people get shot. We live in violent times, unfortunately it's rarely against the people who desperately need it.

To me it looked like the kid got off pretty easy, I don't think he hit him hard at all. Not nearly what he needed... and asked for.

This little kid didn't through the egg or toss the age, he slapped the Senator in the back of the head with an egg in his hand. You can see the sudden jerk forward if the Senators head as he was struck.

His reaction was normal for a person who just received an unprovoked slap in the head from behind. I would have laid this kid out too. I don't buy into this bullshit where they strike you then put up their hands as if to surrender so you can't hit them back. Bull... you picked a fight, I'm ending it. I'm not falling for your fake show of surrender so you can sucker punch me again.
