I saw that too. When your religion celebrates a feud over who was in charge after your prophet died by cutting yourself up, time to question the foundation of your religion and what's its true goal is and how said goal will be achieved. Well... On the one hand you have a small group of zealots in the Philippines. OTOH You have an entire population of 7th century primitives self mutilating. Not sure I see a difference... Don't conflate the two! Examples of current day islam and conflating it to Christianity's inquisition of many centuries back before the Enlightenment is another tactic that doesn't fly. | |||
