Moot point for spunk639, but I had an ascending aortic anuyersm measured at 5.3cm cause by a bicuspid aortic valve. I'd known about the issue for over 10 years, though it was a congenital issue. I was procedured and repaired in November, 2013 and doing just fine 10 years later. The surgery wasn't fun, but it was effective!
