Well, I called Ex-Mrs this morning. There was very little up-front chitchat, and I got right to the point. "Hey, I learned last Friday that Mr. M had passed."

Ex-Mrs: "Yeah, I knew. I saw it on Facebook, figured you knew."

At that point it was a good thing I'm not feeling well today and The Filter isn't stressed, because I was absolutely fuming on the inside. As in, "Why the heck didn't you tell me?!? And you know I'm not on Facebook!"

Thankfully, what actually came out was something like, "Okay, then. I'll see ya later."

Now I'm off to write a letter to Mrs M, explaining as best I can that I just simply didn't know.
