So this guy is saying that the P.D. lied to Jussie saying they believed he told the truth in order to get him to tell the truth about the lie he told? Very shrewd.
Actress Gabby Sidibe has deleted a tweet backing her disgraced Empire co-star Jussie Smollett, as further details emerge over how and why he allegedly orchestrated a fake hate crime incident against himself.
Sidibe backed Smollett’s initial version of events, instead blaming the media for questioning his story.
“I know him, I believe him, I stand with him. #jussiesmollett,” Sidibe wrote on Instagram, accompanied by a quote from Malcolm X about how the media discriminates against African-Americans.
Yet by Thursday afternoon, Sidibe had deleted the post as further details about the case emerged

... Stafford claims this was all just a part of a broader setup.
Of course, yes it was. This guy really has no clue how such places operate, just run-off the rails with the conspiracy theories.....there's a crack in that story somewhere!

I read his fellow actors are pissed because they think he tainted the show now. Too fuckin' bad.

I wonder, is there case law that allows for those people who wear MAGA hats and support Trump to sue Smollet for something defamation of character?

Lee Daniels, co-creator of the Fox TV show Empire, stealthily deleted an Instagram video this week about the “attack” against Jussie Smollett. In the vulgar video, Daniels described the supposed attack as “just another fucking day in America.”
“We have to love each other, regardless of what sexual orientation we are, because it shows that we are united on a united front, and no racist fuck can come in and do the things that they did to you,” the producer said.
As of Friday afternoon, the video was deleted from Daniels’ Instagram page.

My thoughts as well. I think he is too proud/arrogant to accept what he has done. I think he'd rather believe his own lie which is a mental illness. I think if he were forced to suffer the full consequences of his behaviors he'd take the weak way out because he is weak.
