I have this one. Got Last July (July 2020) from Woot. A member here posted that they were on sale for $69.00.
I've used it once so far. It gave an immediate crankover on the disabled vehicle, started right up.
I just turned it on again, it was down to 75% as best as I can tell.

I too carry some older really heavy duty jumper cables, about 22 feet long, beastly clamps, stays very flexible in cold weather. Personally I feel more comfortable with the NOCO jump pack, it just seems to be so much more quicker and easier to use. If the Noco won't start it, then I will pull out the jumper cables.

If neither of those will do the job, then it's time to call AAA.

Good reminder. After giving these to my kids and a niece I have a 6-month reminder on my calendar mainly to tell them.

Good videos. I'm strongly considering the Audew 2000A, which I could not find in the second video. In the first link it's at :45 and then gets its best in show rating starting at 19:10.

The statement about checking your tire pressures is right on key!! I checked my driver car tires yesterday and was really surprised how low the pressure was in the rear tires.....not too bad in the front tires. I need to set up a reminder for my feeble old brain.

My jump starter is a NOCO brand.

Thanks to this thread, I just ordered this: NOCO Boost X GBX55 1750A 12V.

It's a newer version that is a fast charge.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Thanks. Thats a lot cheaper than the Noco. I beleive the Noco I was looking at was over $300.00.
Food for thought.

Thanks again, just ordered for my wife for Christmas. Her car is a 2012 with 21K miles on it and the original battery. In south Florida it’s not the cold but the heat. Now she will have her 20’ jumpers, HD tire pump and the jump starter.

Thank you. There's a sale right now at Audew site https://www.audew.com/. The sale prices plus the Project Farm review results convinced me it's time to order.

Every fall, I lower my spare down. Check it over, add air if needed, hose it off and then lube and grease the crap out of the winch and the cable in preparation for the winter snow, ice, and salt.
