Not much on EVs but some people just gotta gave one. Saw the Air Sapphire in town today. Smoove n swoopy, front to back. Makes something crazy like 1,200 HP. Fast accelerator EV. I can't get why someone would pony up a quarter million for something like this sedan. Other than to get on the road and blow off every ICE muscle car they find. Also known as stupid and dangerous. It's like the Johnny come lately of 3 motor EVs with power and speed in mind. There has to be better ventures than 1/4 million spent on a adult toy. Not impressed.

Rich folks spend big money on supercars all the time, toys for them, some have multiple supercars, me, I'm just a JAFO when it comes to quarter mil cars....

I'm impressed. Electric cars aren't for me at the moment, but you can't deny their raw performance when it comes to acceleration. If I had that kind of disposable income, I'd have no problem buying one and beating the absolute hell out of it.

"The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people."
"Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy."
"I did," said Ford, "it is."
"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?"
"It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want."
"You mean they actually vote for the lizards."
"Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."
"But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?"
"Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."

Take a courtesy page from my aunt and don't Google that. Or in her case, adult swing.

Been meaning to read up on these. Drove to Indy this weekend and saw one between Louisville and Indy then another in the parking lot of the Indy Children’s Museum.
I had heard of them but not the details.
Pretty slick looking vehicle.

Definitely better looking than a Mosel S, IMO, but the price is eye watering.

If I were in the market for an EV, the Rivian would likely top my list.

Porsche Taycan Turbo S, or Audi E-Tron GT, hands down, both are exceptionally good looking autos, they look like a premium German high end sedan.

Saw one of the Lucids in Scottsdale last winter, not bad, doesn't look like a quarter million car.

From their website. . .

"Zero to 60 mph in less than two seconds. Zero to 100 mph in less than four seconds. The standing quarter mile in less than nine seconds. And over 200 mph."

Not too shabby.
