Yep. And at that point, their hope is to get a PBS special on them.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Yes and get to see all those old people in the audience singing along with the group. I just wish they would show attractive younger people. Oh and that special we need your money solicitation.

I remember going to a Steppin Wolf concert in Cleveland (1970?, 1971??) and the opening act was Earth Wind and Fire. They were so phenominal that the whole place went crazy. You could tell that they were going to be a top band. Earth Wind and Fire were so good that Steppin Wolf seemed like, well, not as good as the opening act.
Todd Rudgren (Erie,PA around the same time) was a good show.

I had to pick a new Google Voice number a couple of years ago. The local exchanges were unavailable, so I picked 662-483-xxxx, Clarksdale MS.
Charter boomer here, born in 1946. In addition to all of the rock groups mentioned, I was also brought up on Sam Cooke, Bo Diddley, Elvis, Chuck Berry and the like. But The Band, CSNY, Rolling Stones, Cream, and even the Beatles took things to a new level, for sure.
