I grew up in the adjacent town. I always liked Ocean Grove. Our High School graduation was there.

Ah yes, I remember New Joisey, where take out Beer had to be poured by the Bartender into a cardboard container before it could be sold.

Beer was flat before we left the bar, but hey it was the law.

Take out beer? In a cardboard container? Where was this?

Harbor Freight is closing Easter Sunday too
quote:
Dear Harbor Freight Community:

I want to wish each of you and your families who are celebrating a Happy Easter. Our stores will be closed Easter Sunday, April 4th so that our associates can spend time with their loved ones. I want to thank the whole Harbor Freight family for everything they’ve done during what has been a challenging year for all of us. They’ve consistently been there to support our customers and each other, and I couldn’t be more proud.

I also want to thank all of our loyal customers for continuing to choose Harbor Freight. We’re open during our regular hours on Friday and Saturday to meet your needs, and look forward to seeing you next week during our annual Spring Black Friday event.

I hope you’re enjoying these early days of spring and that you continue to stay safe,

Eric Smidt

This is how I see it. Most retail, works a 40 hour (hourly) week. Two days off. If you give everyone the same day off you have better coverage the rest of the week.
They didn’t say if it was extra day off or paid day off.

Atlantic City, in the mid '60's. Was just one stupid law in that state.

My company is owned by the French. Easter isn’t a holiday. Neither is Good Friday. However our colleagues in France do have Monday off in observance of Easter.

These go to eleven.

I never know whether to park in a handicapped slot or a veterans' slot.

They do not have any slots designated for disabled veterans.

I did, making up hours is different from a paid holiday.
I think it’s awesome having Easter off. My company gives everyone off on Easter. A family day.

They said employees would have the opportunity to MAKE UP the hours . Therefore it's not a paid holiday .
