Maybe a “recently deleted” directory somewhere? Ideally would restore the deleted post to its original position in the thread.

Another option - Maybe the 'Wayback Machine' has an archived version of the page where you can at least capture the info and repost it, even if not in the same place in the thread

At the risk of sounding ridiculously obtuse … rewrite and repost it? I don't know of any way to retrieve it.
