You know, its cool that they offer this but there's something even better, if it's usually open that means that your community respects its veterans enough to leave it alone.

I'll say that some places may well use it for marketing but some places actually do care. If a place offers I'll take it but only if it's offered. I do however skip the things I do not yet need. I qualify for a handicap placard but wont get one. I'll be damned if I make an old couple walk across the parking lot so I could be "a little bit closer".

Glad they opened it up to all vets.

I've been getting my 2% there for two years now. I'm just a garden variety vet.
