honestlouAn interesting truism about raising children
I just saw this posted somewhere and don’t believe I’ve seen it before:
“If you raise your children you can spoil your grandkids, but if you spoil your children you’ll have to raise your grandkids”.
I want to say in advance I don’t intend to disparage anyone, and I know there are circumstances where raising grandchildren becomes necessary. But this just had a ring of truth to it, and it certainly seems to me to be becoming more common.

But, if you spoil your grandkids, their parents will have to raise their grandkids.
