Good customer service from Leupold.

This was on my golf rangefinder. I had an older model - four or five years old, and well out of warranty, stop being able to read any range over about 30 yards. These get banged around attached to and in golf bags, and get more abuse than a hunting or shooting rangefinder. Their warranty on electronics is two years. They told me it was out of warranty, but to send it in. They would fix it if they could, no charge.

They couldn't fix it, but sold me a replacement for a little less than 1/3 of the MSRP and a little less than 1/2 of the street price of the current equivalent model.

The warranty on their optics is unlimited, but it is the service that I am commending. Excellent.

It is good to read when a vendor goes the extra mile. Now those of us looking to buy an optic device know to apply more value to their products. Glad you were well served.

Glad to hear they back their products. It seems to be rare that a company stands behind their product. Will remember this if I want something other than an ACOG.
