that's sick

especially that torque spec

Yep that is those twin turbos...that thing has to be a rocket ship...

Yup, my grandmother's last 2 MBs were S550s. 4.0 TTV8. For a luxo-barge, it would hit triple digits rapidly & run silent at 100mph, while floating like a cloud.

My I4T C300 is quick, but a slug by comparison.

Reminds me of a KIA.

Buy stock in a tire company now.

x-Drive = AWD, so it shouldn't have much issue putting tall that torque to the pavement.

What color? I have a 2015 M5, love it, they seem big but on the open road it's perfect.

I tested a 2014 (in 2013) 335i, and a M2 a few years ago and wasn't impressed with the seats either... threw me off. I like the E90s seats more.

White with the Shadowline Package (no chrome on the entire vehicle including the grille). Brown Nappa Leather interior with contrast stitching.

The photo in my first post is actually exactly how the car should look.

Interesting that 2021 is the first model year BMW is making red brake calipers available (they are usually blue on the M cars). I want a unique looking vehicle so I went for red!

Probably my favorite all time four door car. Taht MB V8 sound is hard to beat.

But that Beemer is pretty darn sweet and should be a blast to drive. Smile

I have a 2104 335i RWD with 6 speed manual. I thought it was fast until I drove my friends 2013 550. The 550 was a completely different beast and scary fast. I have a feeling you will love the new 550

A friend of mine got a M550 great car! When you buy a new BMW you have the choice of picking it up at the dealer, or you can pick it up at their high performance center in SC. When you pick it in SC you get to take one of their cars out on the track and beat on it. They put us in a M7. I still can't believe they put us in a 600 HP $180,000 ? car and said " GO HAVE FUN " !

I will agree with you, that Teslas look pretty generic. But, mine is so much cheaper to drive than my e550 cabriolet was, its not even funny.

I just replaced the 20" stupidity wheels, with some 18" ones, shod with whatever the quiet Michelin Primacy MXM4s are. Completely changed the car. It now rides really nicely, and is quite quiet.

Not saying you have to get one, but you really should drive a performance version.

Awesome!

Now forfeit your warranty and throw a tune in that thing (yeah yeah, I know you have the 550, but who doesn't like more hp?)

Nice car! I'm confused, though. What's the M designation? It's not an M5 and it's not a 550i...is it sort of an in-between?

Not as hair shirt as the M5, but more go and goodies than the "garden variety" 5. Now than I'm 70, the M850i or X3 M40 seem just right Smile
