I got a new Fitbit Charge 2 in the mail this weekend. I really like it, except for the feature that vibrates when you get a text message or incoming call. So to paraphrase Stanley Goodspeed, how in the name of Zeus' BUTTHOLE do you turn that damned feature off?? It is VERY annoying and as I carry my phone around with me, I don't need my Fitbit to buzz when I get a text or phone call. TIA!!!

Reading through the Fitbit forums, it appears there is no way to turn off the vibrations. There is a workaround for the activity vibrations, and you can disable the call features. But if you want to keep the call features, you’re stuck with vibrations.

Drat. Thanks for looking into that, Bean. You would think Fitbit would listen to their customer base and put in options to disable this. But I guess Fitbit didn't ask me...

Thanks again!

If you don't need your fitbit to notify you when you get a call or text, you can turn those notifications off in the app settings.

Thanks Doug. Finally got the update and the new version does have that feature. The OEM version when first installed didn't...that's why I was kinda surprised.

You can also turn off notifications by holding the button until it says "notifications off".
