This is one of the best moto commercials I’ve seen in a while.

Is that an '86 or '87 GXSR1100? I should have gotten one of those instead the 1000 Ninja. I made up for it with an '88 FZR750RU a couple years later.

ETA - D'oh, I can read. I rode the 750 a few times, it was lots of fun.

By the color scheme, think it's a 1986.

Had an '86 GSX-R 750 with the same colors.

Miss that bike Frown

I had one of those old 1000 Gixxers. Even got to do a track day at Texas World Speedway.

Yup, my Grail bike. 1986 GSX-R 750.

I passed up an opportunity for an original owner ‘87, 4500 miles, never down. I forget what it sold for, but I still kick myself in the ass for not getting it. That was the bike that got the whole sportbike movement going. Finding one in decent shape is like finding a unicorn. They are all beat to hell, missing body panels, non factory paint jobs, high mileage, etc... If I could find a decent one, it would be parked in my basement.

In my eyes, an aircooled in-line 4 is the sexiest and best sounding bike engine ever made.

Thanks for the post!!!
