Told cops where to go for over 29 years…

I’ve started finding these little fellows around the house. Have exhausted my resources trying to figure out what they are and where the came from.

Only find one at a time, on a wall and most frequently in the bathroom. They move so slowly you really have to watch to see that they are mobile and not just a piece of lint on the wall. They seem to be more frequent than I am comfortable with, but not what I would consider an infestation. Maybe find 2-3 of them over the course of a week.

About 2-3 mm in length. Impress me with your knowledge!

Pic is touch blurry, but very small and magnified trying to get some detail.

What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

If it were white, I would call it a mealy bug. Have a lot of plants in the house?

Google image search suggests it's a carpet beetle.

Always called them pillbugs. They like damp areas, especially rotten wood.

Looks like the wrong color. Looks like too many legs.

Pill bugs, aka: roly-polies, are always blue-gray and have seven pairs of legs. They aren't actually bugs, but crustaceans, and are beneficial.

This sounds like what we call “Potato bugs” in this area. If you touch hem they roll into a ball. These are much smaller and don’t have such a defined “shell”

Checking google pics, looks like carpet beetle larvae. Great….
