So this is my first Amazon Prime Day, what can I expect in terms of "deals?" Any tips for what to look for?

I have heard it referred to as an "Amazon garage sale". YMMV.

I got an email from them previewing some of the deals and a few looked good. I'll definitely check it out. It'll open up on the 10th at 6 pm here.

I have not found ANYTHING of interest.

Gimmick to drum up interest in the crap that doesn't move, or the stuff that promotes Amazon's agenda - like the echo and dot.

In my experience if you find something that you already wanted on sale then get it. If you search for something worth spending your money on you'll be disappointed.

I looked for a couple items I typically buy from them like protein bars(musclepharm) and they were 20% off. Otherwise mostly stuff I don't need. Stocked up on the protein bars though.

Anyone have the Ring pro doorbell? If so, do you like it? How's the night vision on it?
Are the associated stick up cameras good?

Big yawner.

Looked a couple times. Didn't see a single thing worth even a first look, much less a second.
