Funniest car ad in a long time - Jeep Grand Wagoneer Login/Join

Granted it’s a YouTube as and not a regular commercial. Funniest car ad since Nissan had GI Joe snakin’ Barbie from Ken. Nice to see humor in advertising again. “Grand Shagoneer”. “Best car to start a family in” Now if product planning would follow through and be just as outrageous, I want my Grand Shagoneer with wood grain trim, 6” lift, 37” Mud Terrains and a Hellcat motor.

That was hilarious, but I lost my grin at “starting at just under $65,000”. Eek

It gets worse, you can add nearly $60,000 in trim and options as Caredge is showing Series III Obsidian 4x4 on a lot near me with a MSRP of $123,550. Eek

The other day, I was just reminiscing on the old Joe Isuzu ads. It's nice to see a nice, humorous ad.

I think it was a missed opportunity they should have said with a price below $69,000…

Part of them trying to, “Fix” Jeep. For 2006 they simplified options gettting rid of Series I, II, III, etc. and bring the price down.

Big Jeeps are outrageously expensive. I wanted to move up from a Cherokee to a Grand Cherokee in June. Went to a couple of Jeep dealerships and lots of GCs to choose from. All 3 row and over 60K. I told one dealer I would only settle for a 2 row V6 4X4 and under 40K. He had to get one from Minnesota. A GC Laredo. When it arrived, I compared it to the high dollar GCs on the lot and the net result was.... Not much difference, except in trim and pointless (to me) features. I bought it. The Wagoneer? No way would I ever pay 80K for a Jeep! If you like Iliza, she has a few specials on NetFlix.

It’s a huge vehicle…
It’s expensive…
But equal to or cheaper than its competitors, Ford, Chevy, and Cadillac.

Not in my area. The highest MSRP Suburban on the lot is $110k and highest Expedition is $98k. As I posted earlier, nearly $124k MSRP for a Grand Wagoneer on the lot in my area which means it's 10% to 20% higher than competition.
