I have no one to brag to, so you guys gotta hear it.
My oldest daughter, who is a chemical engineer, finally agreed to publish the books she has been writing since age 11 a couple years ago. She had feared rejection. The first took off slowly, the second did a bit better. She never told me about them, so I finally asked. SHE HAS 14 BOOKS OUT! All are on Amazon, 11 have reached a point where the were printed in paperback. She's doing great, and it's a spare time gig! I read her profile, and she credits her mother and I for making her publish! OM Gosh, she's actually renowned in her somewhat narrow genre. I have all 11 coming in tomorrow. They're too big to stick to the refrigerator with magnets! My heart swells. I'm so happy she is able to do what she dreamed of doing and having some success at it.This message has been edited. Congrats! They sure do grow up quick. So many times they go in the wrong direction these days. It is a proud accomplishment to have raised a kid right.
I don't know if you're up for it, but could you share her work with us? An amazon link maybe? If not, that's fine too.

That's certainly something to be proud of. Especially that she published them.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
