Not sure how true this is, I was told by someone who works in the industry that because of the Trade issues with other country's right now not as much liquor is being exported.

They said because of this more allocated liquor is ending up on the shelfs of American liquor stores.

This was told to me by someone who "claims to be in the know" and again I don't know how true this is.

As for any allocated bourbon, I have seen a lot here in central Florida lately on the shelfs including Buffalo Trace in multiple liquor stores.

Nearly impossible to find these days in MN. If stores get it they don't put it on the shelves and you don't know they have it unless you ask and if they do put it out the markup on it is insane.

I'm done playing that game. There are so many other much better, available bottles out there.

I am not much of a whiskey snob. In fact I’m kind of a whiskey and some mixer kind of guy. Recently I discovered flavored whiskeys which are just sweet enough for me to drink straight. Don’t laugh but my current go to is Old Smokey Blackberry. My whiskey buddies roll their eyes at that. Lol

We’re getting Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, and E. H. Taylor Small Batch — at Walmart and Fry’s on a regular basis; life is good!

I wanna say $30 back in Feb when I was there before SOS/NGD, limit 12,

however, here in VA, you are lucky to find the airplane bottles,

when at the distillery, I was told by a local I know to go Friday AM, be early, that is when the put out the 'good stuff' that sells out quickly

so we did, froze our butts off for an hour or 2, and got the same stuff I got the year prior on a Sat Afternoon,

FWIW, Weller was out everywhere, almost, what was available was almost double what I paid the year before, and that was in the likker stores,

no Eagle Rare anywhere,

The local gas station had a fairly large display, and it was $25 as I recall. If there was some kind of shortage, not any more.

About2 years ago it was very hard to find down here in my area.. Once bought the last bottle and as I was walking away from thecounter i was offered 2x price because the person wanted for a retirement party and I did not sell it... Shortly there after heard a story for what is worth that some major distributor was doing some under the table deals as to why it wa so hard find.........But supposidly that distributor has been replaced and the Buffalo Trace is now a lot easier and large quanities can be found $ 4 cheaper than it was 2 year ago........................ drill sgt.

Killer deal. Where is total wine in Chesterfield. I go to the one on Manchester so they probably have the same price.

Since the beginning of the year, BT has been plentiful in this area. There’s enough that it sits on the shelf for several days before selling out and the same is now happening with Eagle Rare and Blantons (but that’s probably in large part due to Blantons now being $82).

We have Buffalo here about every week. Weller Green sits on the shelves now for a week or two. They seem only to sell out when Buffalo isn't available.

$22 a bottle, wow. All the way up here it sells for around $32 - $38 a bottle, if you can find it.

Just at the Kroger liquor store and there was zero. The fat little young girl at the register didn't know what I was talking about when I asked about BT.

Over the weekend I bought a couple at $37 and change, a bottle, in Lenox, Mass. I was happy to get it. None to be had around Boston as far as I can tell, and close to $60 a bottle in NYC.
