Anyone having problems getting Buffalo Trace?

1s1kAnyone having problems getting Buffalo Trace?
Ever since Buffalo Trace became super popular it can be a hit or miss to be able to find it. I have even bought the double sized bottles because most people won’t buy those.
This morning I turned the corner at the local grocery store and the heavens opened up.
This is the most Buffalo Trace I’ve ever seen in one location. No I didn’t buy a single bottle since my stash is pretty solid. St.Louis if you’re in the area. (Oakville Dierbergs)
I probably should have bought a couple since they were $25 a bottle which is a great price around here.

Local grocery chain (just a few stores) usually has Eagle Rare for $40. I’m told it’s good.

911BossI have a bottle in the garage, Safeway (grocery store) in my area has it pretty frequently. Last paid $28 if I recall.
I think I need to start drinking more, picked up the taste for bourbon during my “test retirement”/unfounded termination-exile then after winning the arbitration and going back to work I dried out a bit.
Now that I am retired “for real” I should probably start working on all the Four Roses (Single Barrel and Small Batch), Elijah Craig Small Batch, Kirkland Small Batch, Buffalo Trace, Woodinville, Larceny Barrel Proof, Basil Hayden, and Eagle Rare bourbons that all the fine SF folks in the
Bourbon Thread forced me to seek out and spend money on

Oh, also the Sazerac, Whistle Pig, Woodinville, and Templeton Ryes as well as the Bird Dog Peach and Blackberry Whiskies I picked up for when I want something sweet.
Hmm, think I’ll go pour something just as soon as I finish my ice cream

400mTrouble finding it? Yes, for about 3 years now. Most of my friends that live more than 30 minutes from me have no trouble.
Last year I found 1 bottle of Eagle Rare. The employee said it was $100.
Yes, I was polite with my response.

sig229-SASWe have learned to shop early on the first few days of each month. Much beyond 8-10 days of each month they are sold out and the wait begins. It's worth waiting for, really good stuff.....

2BobTannerNot a problem for me, but then again I live in Kentucky.

DanHEverything by Buffalo Trace is hard to get here KC (MO or KS). Anyone that gets some stock and sells it for MSRP disappears fast and only the scummy shop and robs that jack up the price will have stock for just a little bit longer.

So just like at your local store it looks like BT coming off of “allocation” means no more shortages.
The manager told me the handles will start showing up soon too!

BigSwedeIt's in most of the liquor stores around here but I won't pay what they are asking, $35+ for 750ml
My favorite store has it occasionally for $28 and $39 for a one liter

Nyet...I have photographic evidence.
The pic below is a friends bottle and I am the one smiling. Note the non-Russian ancestry, the lack of big feet, and no red clothing.
This next pic is my bottle and was opened at my daughters wedding:
