If you could host mine that would be great. Thanks.

Just trying a gentle reminder that I still do it. But if you want to challenge me about it, go for it.

Not challenging, just pointing out your partial quote. Afterall, you could've mentioned without partial quoting me.

I've been using postimage for a couple years with no issues. I will say, I do not leave photos on the sight for more than 6 or 7 months and I do not have a large number of pictures on the sight at any time.

Set/select the size option when you upload it.
640 x 480 is about right for internet post.

A nice feature of ImageShack: I upload the full-resolution image, and only the full-resolution image. But when I post that image to a forum I can specify its size for that particular posting. E.g., 640x480

$19/year for unlimited storage and supports avatars. Several years ago I neglected to re-up for a couple of months. I couldn’t upload additional photos in that interval, but my existing photos remained visible in posts that had them.

Flickr has a resize option for posting, also. The full-size image is stored, but the tool for posting will resize on demand.

I love ImageShack. I can upload the image and change resolution while linking. It will also feed me HTML links for the antique HTML forums I sometimes hit.

I used to suggest that everyone buy hosting and a domain name but for simple image hosting you don’t even need a domain name. The URL just looks a little funny with the IP number and ~username.

Testing my new ImageShack account. Wow, this is much easier than hosting on my domain. Thanks for the recommendation, I should have done this a long time ago.

Congrats on the ImageShack account!

Nice truck too. I’d bet you get a lot of, “Say, could you help me move?” Smile
