All options are on the table.

"I'm not gonna lie" or "I'll be honest".

It comes out of the mouths of people that should have some idea of how thoughtless that really is.

I get annoyed when I thank a food/bar Service Worker and they reply with "No problem".

Then I think "I hope not, it is your job."

"We agree to disagree."

No we don't.

Last year, it was the use of "crush" its various forms as 'excel'. As in "We crushed that APFT yesterday." That and "kinetic", as in "The team leader tried to bribe the LEO, but that didn't work so they went kinetic." Apparently those were the hip terms in the SF community we rub shoulders with, so all of our people started using it.

This year it's "right seat ride" to describe being tasked to a support mission where you are essentially an observer, since you have no experience in the matter at hand. I suspect that came from a BN commander who was a chopper pilot.

"Irregardless".
I know, it's not a term. Heck, it's not even a real word. If it were, it would be a word containing its own double negative.

"In my mind".
Used to work for someone who used this constantly.

"...the truth of the matter is..."

Especially when it is used 4 times within one 2-minute conversation.

Any statement that includes the word “micro aggression”

And the one that makes me roll my eyes…

"The devil is in the details." This is an expression used frequently by individuals to explain or discuss a subject he knows little or nothing about.

Kudos. My managers use this all the time to pat themselves on the back.
I want to tell them to shove their "kudos" sideways!
Years ago the younger gen would add the word "like" to every sentence. That would make my eye twitch...

I almost forgot my favorites:

"Right?" (with an upward inflection)

Or, it's more annoying big brother:

"I know...Right?"

Mad

I now simply walk away from the Valley Girl wannabees (men and women) who choose to use these in conversation.

Some I picked up in federal service; every one uttered by a complete tool:

PHRASE MEANING

Can’t run down that trail, We Should not follow this course of action

Only hit the wave tops, I will summarize this for you

Let me walk the dog a little bit, I will explain this more fully

Drive by Tasker, An assignment by a upper-level manager

Bump that info up against, Briefing someone to get an opinion

I want to finger roll this out, Let me explain this to you in a plain manner

We need to develop a Battle Rhythm, Developing a normal routine

Completely Scaleable and Flexible, We have an idea of what we want to accomplish
but have no earthly idea of how big or small it
should be or how it should be staffed or when it should be started.

Parking Lot Issue, I don’t know the answer, I’ll get back to you
