I put this up in the "Whats your deal", I though more views might be available in the "Lounge" section.

O'Hare offer for parking.

I live very near the terminals at O'Hare. About 10 minutes.
If a Forum member would want to drive to my house they can park at my house and either I could drive you to your terminal or you could take a short taxi or Uber or the Blue Line train to your terminal.
If you find yourself in a need to park your car while you fly and want a secure area to park for free, contact me.

If you fly into O'Hare and there is a major airline problem that keeps you grounded for a long time (think 911) you are welcome to come stay at my home until things straighten out.
If its weather like snow you can take the Blue Line train from the Airport terminal, take it 3 stops to Harlem ave, its a 10 min walk to my house or I could pick you up.

That's a very very kind offer.

I came too close to having to spend the night at O'Hare once during a blizzard in the '90s and noticed that there were no benches long enough to lay down on.

My plan at this point is to never fly again. It's one of many pleasures that other people have ruined for us.

It is good knowing that you're there and ready to help if needed. Thank you.

Heck of an offer! Lucky for me I'm out of the weekly flying part of my life for work, and out of MCO we have direct flights to much of the country, lots overseas too.
