I have an ATV and a UTV(side x side). My ATV is a 2007 Polaris Sportsman 800 X2 Deluxe. I have a Polaris winch on it and it is bad. I would like to replace it with a Superwinch Terra 35. I emailed Superwinch and they told me the only thing I would have to change was the relay. They told me it would swap right out with the mounting plate?? Anybody have any experience with this? Bolt patterns on these are pretty much standard. ATV usually has the 4.875" narrow spool size mounting plate. The narrower spool ATV winches mounting holes should be 4.875" apart. Throw it up on a trailer. Also utilize a rolling stool. It helps tremendously for these projects. The cheap (~$200) ATV lifts they sell at the auto parts stores make these projects easier also. I've purchased 2 of those superwinch terra series. I like them a lot. I have a 4500 and a 3500. I had to remove most of the front of my grizzly to install the 3500, it was too big to slide in place.
