cajunmuscleThis Cop Needs To Go
Looks like he's 10-8 without one in the chamber. Holy crap. He's lucky he didnt get himself or someone else killed. LAPD needs to take some serious corrective action on this officer. The two minute mark on the video is where it kicks off. Thoughts?

400mHard to see at that speed, but yeah it appears he tried to chamber while running, slide hung up, and somewhere around the time he took out the mag, the slide closed. Then I think he pulled the slide back to confirm that one was chambered before seating the mag again. Regardless, it appears he started the chase without one round chambered.

2BobTannerLooks like something of a plot line device that has been shown on the TV show “The Rookie”, with just as much chaos and confusion.

Maybe it was a 320?

jljonesI’d say a good 75 percent of all cops are marginally to poorly trained. From here on out, when you watch these videos start paying attention to the circular firing squads. 99.9 percent of the videos involving cops and vehicles, you will see cops with serious crossfire issues and often are pointing guns directly at one another.
This video is no exception. That’s more troubling to me that the trash gun handling.

Yerp.
4 guys on scene. 2-3 of them hopped up on adrenaline with tunnel vision, flagging each other and getting into unsafe firing positions with other officers in front of their guns, while 1 calmer voice of reason (
"Guys, redeploy... Redeploy, guys.") attempts to remind them that perhaps this is not such a good idea.
That's how you get shit like this from just this last Thursday night:
https://abc7chicago.com/post/c...y-cpd-says/16674273/"A Chicago police officer shot and killed a fellow officer Thursday night, police said. CPD said Friday that the only weapon discharged during a confrontation with an armed suspect in Chatham Thursday was that of an officer, who unintentionally shot Officer Krystal Rivera... The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said Rivera was shot in the back, and declared her death a homicide."June 07, 2025, 11:35 AM
12131^^^^ Also from the article,
“
Rivera was shot and was taken to the University of Chicago hospital in a squad car, officials told ABC7.
That car crashed, and police had to wait for another vehicle to take her the rest of the way”.
The possibility that she could have survived had the crash not happened cannot be ignored.
