BurtonRWWell... it's certainly a slick looking unit.
I'm a little troubled by the photo in their gallery showing the UPS plugged directly into a wall outlet (although if you read through some of the FAQs, they do acknowledge that you need to have their transfer switch installed if you're going to power your house and you're not off-grid already).
Otherwise, I have no idea, except that lately, I'm pretty sure all lithium batteries are intent on spontaneously combusting and burning my house/shed/car to the ground.
I have NG, so for the kind of money they're asking, I'll stick with my original plan to install a 20kW Kohler generator and maybe a propane backup in case the NG is cut somehow.

dkjbamaPrice for what you get. $5,000 for 2kw of rated power and weighs 167 lbs. That's barely over 20 amps @ 120v and would only carry that load for 2.5 hours. You can buy a 2kw Honda inverter genset for $1200 or a Harbor Freight knockoff for $620 that will carry the same load as long as you can feed it fuel and it sips gasoline.

Some ShotI don't know which specific unit you are considering.
I have one that fits my needs very well with many advantages over only an internal combustion generator.
I question some negative comparisons are a stretch.

trapper189Pick the on sale $2,999 2000W 2000Wh unit with the 700W of solar panels and let's compare it to a Honda EU2200 inverter generator that costs $1,200 at Home Depot.
The Honda will produce 1800W for 3 hours on a gallon of gas that cost $4. Really 3.2 hours on .95 gallons that costs $3.10, but we'll keep the math simple. With the gallon of gas, it weighs about 55 pounds.
The Bluetti unit will provide 1800W 1 hour and 10 minutes. Then it'll need to be charged. Once the sun rises, it'll take a minimum of 3 hours to charge with the solar panels.
With the price difference, $1,800, you can buy 450 gallons of gas and run the Honda for 56 days straight.
Let's do another. The Honda will produce 450W for 8 hours on a gallon of $4 gas.
The Bluetti will provide 450W for 4 hours and 25 minutes, then it needs to be charged.
In this case, with that 450 gallons of gas purchased with the $1,800 price difference, you can run the Honda for 150 days straight.

architectExcept everybody on here always recommends using ethanol-free 100 Octane in small engines, that ain't no $4/gal. Prob. has fewer BTUs/gal. too.
Not to mention that when the SHTF, gasoline will be at a premium, for a short time anyway, before becoming unobtanium. Probably don't want to advertise your electric capability in either case so this argument may be moot.
It's a different equation for short-term power outages at an established residence with significant reliance on electrical amenities vs. being prepared for zombies riding on the backs of giant vampire ants. This may be the "gun that gets you home" rather than the one defending your castle.
