Philly has a rat problem too...but the worst parts of Philly aren’t as bad as the majority of Baltimore. Baltimore is both scary and disgusting.

I always feel a great sense of unease when I’m in Baltimore, just bad vibes.

It’s funny though, people are up in arms about this on social media...most of these clowns have never even been to Baltimore to see how horrible it is.

You can go onto Google Street View and drop your cursor on any random residential street in West Baltimore and you will, half the time, land in an area like this:

Baltimore is a shithole.

That's interesting. I've lived in the Denver area all my life and don't recall even seeing a rat. Mice, voles, prairie dogs, yeah.

Guess I never lived in or visited prime rat territory.

Bernie Sanders said similar
On May 5th, 2016, Bernie Sanders said the following:

“Residents of Baltimore’s poorest boroughs have lifespans shorter than people living under dictatorship in North Korea. That is a disgrace.”

I didn't like it during the daytime. I made sure we left early enough to not get caught coming out of there at night. After that little doctor trip, I said I'd never go back to that shithole.

Baltimore is a shithole.

Thanks. I started to post links to where I lived, but didn't.

606 N. Glover Street
623 N. Glover Street.

I lived on 600 block of Glover Street in the 60s. It was a nice neighborhood. We used to scrub the white marble steps for 25 cents (people cared about the appearance of their houses and the streets were kept swept and clean) and then go to the corner store, at 600/500 block (Sis's Confectionery) run by Sis and her brother, both were in their 60s/70s at the time. Or around on Monument street for a slice of pizza, at the window, baked by an Italian man and wife in their home kitchen.

We played "street hocky" on roller skates on that street, using a steel skate wheel wrapped in electrical tape, and many other things. We "do wopped" on the street corners at night, "ran the alleys" and "tipped (empty) trash cans" to get the homeowner's riled up and the dogs barking. Yeah, it's a rat infested shithole. Trump is right on, no matter what is said. We were all sorts of "ethnic" and lived together, in out own 'hoods. We respected each other, and still touched each other's lives and interacted. We got along, and learned a bit about each other, and even through the bias, we managed to find common ground.

Haters are gonna hate, no matter what DJT says or does. Don't let it slow your roll, or support.

We used to go to O's games at old Memorial Stadium in the 80's and both the neighborhood and the stadium were pretty old and run down...not the greatest area to be in when leaving the stadium at night but when Camden Yards opened up in the Inner Harbor it really seemed like that area of Baltimore was actually clean and seemed relatively safe. I went to several trade shows and grabbed a couple lunches at Hooters there and it was actually a treat to go to a ball game and spend time in this area. I guess it took Baltimore residents a little longer to ruin this historic and scenic area. I'm sorry to hear that even the Inner Harbor has suffered the same fate as the rest of "Charm City". Frown

This is a Twitter link to a resident of Baltimore confirming what Trump said about Cummings. Sorry the link is so big, but didn't see a link to the video alone.

This video is one year old, not current. The company I work for doesn't go into Baltimore. We cover all the areas around Baltimore and Annapolis, but not in the city, I think we might service businesses in the city, but definitely not individuals. That's the policy for DC for sure, only retail/commercial.

Fox fact checks president's remarks about Baltimore. - Conclusion, yes Baltimore is a shithole city.

The hilarity of this is that Trump’s tweets force the progs onto the defensive. And whatever the topic, they have to own it, or defend it.

Small world, my entire family was born and raised in E. Baltimore...Federal St/Luzerne/Biddle. I probably still have my great uncles WW2 draft cards around here with some addresses on them. They all went to Poly when it was on North Avenue (not sure where you went). They later moved to Belair-Edison.

My in-laws were all from Waverly then moved to Hamilton.

Those areas are pretty terrible now. Northeast Baltimore was decent until they started tearing down the housing projects and moving those people into the area. That really changed everything.

Baltimore was once a great city. Hard working people, mainly immigrants like my family and my in-laws. Not anymore, those days are long gone.

The area around Memorial Stadium wasn't terrible in the 80s. It's significantly worse now, but the stadium is long gone. I used to walk to Ravens games in the 90s and never had any issues around there.

The Inner Harbor is dying a slow death. The new era of BPD officers are pretty useless whereas the old ones would keep that part of town safe for businesses and tourists.

Yes, it had a lot of good and a little bad, but it's a mess now.

I went to #83 about 300 block of Glover (3 blocks N of Patterson Park.)

My mother finally moved to Essex, back river road on the Chesapeake around 1980 and raised my little brother there, later they moved to Wichita KS.

True story: A few years ago I took pity on a homeless guy I met (that's another story) who said he wanted to "go home." He'd been living in the woods. I had nothing doing that evening, so I said I'd drive him.

Turns out "home" was in Baltimore. We're in Northern Virginia. It's 9:00pm, and we're looking at about an hour drive. But, what the hey. Like I said, I had nothing else going on.

So, I drove him "home." Ye Gods, at 11:00pm at night or so, I'm driving a clean, shiny Mercedes-Benz CLK430 through neighborhoods that would make Baghdad look like the high-rent district. There were places that had newspaper covering the windows, instead of curtains. Talk about skeevy!

I dropped the dude off and fired up my rarely-used GPS to get the hell out of there. I never want to go back!

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.
