Wouldn't that be something that would need to be implemented by the states. And given that in the states that would be most effected doing so would change the power balance away from those currently in power, both in terms of both politicians and geographic / demographic population grouping, I see no way that would happen.

I think it will happen one way or another. Either proactively and willingly. Or by force when the leftist, tyrannical metro areas have pushed the right suburban areas too far - they are already heading that direction. Over time, more oppressions, more taxes, more liberties stricken - one day, the force will fight back.

As a side note, some of our more interesting voices came out of the gaming world -- Razorfist, Salty Cracker, Styxhexenhammer666. Don't dismiss them out of hand, they've been communicating effectively on the interwebs for a long time.

Razorfist is a masterful ranter. As much as I love his political stuff, his Metal Mythos series is simply amazing. His reports on W.A.S.P. and Stryper are comprehensive and extremely well done.

More likely the oppressed minority will bail to another state. We're actually seeing a lot of that. But of course the more that leave make the remainers weaker politically
