I found this part in the bottom of my safe and I am not sure what it is, or where it came from. No, not the red ruler. The only long guns on this side of the safe are a Colt AR, PSA AR Pistol, Winchester 1907, Winchester 37, Remington Marine Magnum, Ruger 10/22, Lee Enfield. I have looked at all of the long guns and do not see any glaringly obvious missing parts. I am stumped, so I am turning to the Brain Trust here at SIGforum for some help. Thank you, you both nailed it.This message has been edited. Last edited by: P-220, Niech Zyje P-220 Steve

It looks like part of a Weaver rail mount to me. --------------------------------------- Life Member NRA “If you realize that all things change, there is nothing you will try to hold on to. If you are not afraid of dying, there is nothing you cannot achieve." - Lao Tzu

What rail is on your AR? Looks like the part that connects the rail to my barrel nut on a couple of my ARs. Or that connects rail portions to handguards without rails. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have.
