Too soon old, Too late smart |
I have a year old Sony Bravia, android op system. I'm getting prompts to update the software. So far I've ignored them. TV working fine and I'm afraid an update might end up creating problems. I'm tempted to leave well enough alone. Maybe the software will eventually install automatically as it does on the phone but so far over last 3 months or so it hasn't. Thoughts? _______________________________________ NRA Life Member Member Isaac Walton League I wouldn't let anyone do to me what I've done to myself

I swear I had something for this |
I’ve updated my Sonys constantly. I like the current Google TV interface better than the Android TV one.

It is usually a good idea to update it when possible.

I've never had a TV/other entertainment thing go bad with an update.

Yes, do the update. The software is likely little more than a scaled implementation of Android with a custom interface, so it will need to be updated occasionally. ----------------------------- Guns are awesome because they shoot solid lead freedom.
