I'm looking for guidance..... A good friend of mine died about 2 weeks ago (we're spreading his ashes today). He had an AR with a binary trigger on it. He asked me to remove the binary trigger and convert it to a regular trigger and then give the gun to his wife. Neither his wife or sons (nor me) has any interest in the Binary trigger. She suggested I "throw it away". I was planning to just toss it, but it occurred to me that it might have some value even though it is used. I have never seen a used Binary for sale and am at a loss for value. If it's worth a couple hundred dollars, it would be nice to give my friend's wife a few extra dollars, otherwise I do think I'll simply toss it. Fwiw...I checked with the Franklin Armory website, that makes the Binary, and they seem adamant that the Binary trigger is not in the same category as the FRT or other's, and is still legal. Am I missing any other options? Any idea what a used one would sell for? (new ones seem to be in the $300-$350 range on Gunbroker). | ||
