The last time I purchased magazines online I did so with 44mag.com. They are out of business and I’m in the market for a few 20 round CMI M1A magazines. Is there anybody that you recommend?

Those, plus TopGunSupply, PalmettoStateArmory, PrepperGunShop, DSGArms, and OsageCountyGuns.

I was a big fan of 44mag, and was bummed when they closed up shop.

Wherever is cheapest. The above mentions are great, I’d add Weapons Outfitters and Palmetto State Armory to the list of sites to check and compare prices.

Both occasionally have good deals, especially on bulk purchases.

For CMI M14 mags, the bulk pack from the CMI website. https://checkmatemagazines.com...rmorer-pack-10-mags/

Sadly not as good as the 44mag days.

My LGS which has a decent selection or Great Lakes Supply in Middlefield, Ohio which has just about everything.
I've never had to order online for magazines so far.

Greg Cote and Gunmagwarehouse WHEN I can’t find used. I feel magazines are like cars, no reason to pay new prices and they lose 20% of their value soon as you take them out of the wrapper and use them once.

I also like the hunt. Grabbing a few here or there.

For AR’s it’s whoever has the best deal, because for some reason new is often cheaper than used.

Big Tex Ordnance and similar places often have 100 ct. cases for $800 or less, I think last time it was $725. So I’ll grab a case when those show up or split a case with family.

At the local gun shows. There's a guy who's a major magazine dealer at these and he has prices that are pretty much equal to the cheapest I can find on the net.

Great choice, and a shameless plug.

Great guy, great products, and great service. If he has it in stock, buy it from him.

Those were the kind of magazines that I thought of first when I read the title. No kidding. I thought who buys magazines these days. Then I realized he was talking about clips.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
