My late father-in-law had a leg amputated below the knee then again above the knee,on the same leg. A prosthetic was made for him that went unused as far as I know. Now we have the leg and would like very much for the components to be useful for someone, anyone. The leg is around 4 years old and the knee joint is motorized. Does anyone here happen to work with the non-profits that utilize these items? From what I understand they cannot be reused in the USA legally. Thanks in advance. ________________________ Hi,I'm Buck Melonoma,Moley Russels' wart.

“I have this friend...” actually I do, he is missing a part of one leg, little bit left below the knee. I’ll ask him. He might have a suggestion.

If it doesn't work out for Chris42's friend, have you thought of offering it to the VA? I don't know about present needs, but I seem to remember them accepting prosthetics donations in the past. -------------------------- Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats. -- H L Mencken I always prefer reality when I can figure out what it is. -- JALLEN 10/18/18
