Just Discovered Rat Patrol and 12 O’clock High
Never saw these shows as a kid - we lived in a rural area growing up and never had tv until late 1969

I like Rat Patrol, but Combat! was my favorite.

I liked Tom Corbett, Space Cadet, too, but that's a whole different genre.

I loved watching Rat Patrol. Have not thought about that series in decades.

Just. Stop.

I found Rat Patrol again a couple months ago. I'd had to sneak to watch the originals when I was a little kid. I watch Adam 12 whenever I get the chance.
Sadly, Dragnet & Highway Patrol come on here at 4 to 5 am, so I don't get to watch them.

But my favorite show is Emergency. Always has been since watching as a kid in the early 70's.
Now, I only watch on Saturday afternoons, and on the occasional day off during weekdays, as it comes on 11 am till 1 pm.

What? Someone about my age managed to grow up without ever experiencing the "Rat Patrol" theme as an earwig? Well, you've got a new earwig now!

Those five TV shows are on Saturdays, beginning at 7pm (ET)/6pm (CT), on the Heroes & Icons (H&I) network.

Here’s another from the era -

“Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea”

Produced by Irwin Allen

From wiki -

The crew of the Seaview , the world's first privately owned nuclear submarine, explores oceans and seeks answers to the world's problems. They encounter espionage, environmental catastrophe, nuclear doomsday scenarios, and more than their share of undersea monsters.

With plots like that, what’s not to like?!

well in my defense, I grew up in rural Nova Scotia Canada

no such thing as cable, local tv consisted of two stations from 60 miles away

and honestly as a kid, I spent more time outside building forts or hiking and fishing than I did watching tv

the b&w tv we had at the time had was most likely a 13" Hitachi or something like that with rabbit ears antennas

back then I knew nothing of American tv programming

So where are you finding Rat Patrol episodes?
I’d love to see them again.

Yep, as previously mentioned, if you have the Heroes and Icons (H&I) Channel, they have war programs every Saturday night. Black Sheep Squadron is followed by Tour of Duty, Combat, Rat Patrol, and then Twelve O'Clock High.

Combat, Rat Patrol, 12 O'clock High were staples of my youth, being born in 1961.
