After 20+ years of chronic back pain and multiple surgeries...I’m having yet another one in the morning. I’d like to say it’s getting to be old hat, but I’m not looking forward to it and am getting quite nervous. I’m having another (others have failed) spinal cord stimulator implanted to help control pain. The trial for this one was successful and hopefully the implant will be too. They have to perform a laminectomy this time, which sucks. It’s going to a bit rough going for a few days. If I post and am out of my mind, it’s just the drugs..

Good luck with your surgery and a speedy recovery.
Back surgeries are always rough. I broke my back several years ago and am quite aware of the constant pain that you're usually left with. Hopefully this one will fix you up and you'll be done with them.
Prayers to you. I can’t imagine living in constant pain.
