Holy CRAP!!! He might be accused of being a Republican/Conservative, if he's not careful!! The only thing missing was a string of "F"-bombs...

Good for him, not that they give a damn what their voters think since the party knows whats best for you comrade...
This was played and discussed by Ken Mathews on Rush's show today, one comment was that there seems to be a plethora of folks who are D and feel left out of the party as it moves into a socialistic extreme lunatic party.
I know several D registered folks who after electing BHO figured out the party they thought they were a member of isn't that party anymore.
It's why I'm careful to not group everyone by party listing as radical as the publicized image we're presented with by media.

As Dennis Prager points out almost daily, there is now a difference in someone that is "Democrat Liberal" (Alan Dershowitz) and someone who is "Democrat Leftist" (his idiocy, Comrade Sanders). I'm hoping it's the "Dem. Liberals" that have had enough of the "Dim. Leftist" crap and hold their collective noses as they pull the lever for President Trump in 2020. This councilman would be a good example and a place to start that movement...

The Dems here are an interesting lot. The crazies in the northern, Tayler ham half of my state voted in a full Democratic Government along with Gov "state of emergency" Murphy.
You'd think that the state would really swing hard left under that leadership but the Dems in Trenton hate Murphy and his progressive ideas so much, they have been basically blocking almost everything he wants to do. In response, Murphy selectively vetoes projects and appropriations that benefit his enemies home districts and now there's a total stalemate in the state. This, as far as I'm concerned is a very good thing right now.

I know there are Democrats who are fed up with the leftist commies who basically took over the party and are now the darlings of the MSM and Hollywood. It's been years since I have directly discussed politics with family members, but I know they are not like AOC. They thought Sanders and Warren were way too far to the left back in 2015. This is one of the reasons why I'm certain Democrats will suffer in 2020; they have alienated a segment of their party with commie bullshit and people are getting fed up.

There’s a tendency by many in free(er) states to dump on states like IL, CA, NY, etc. Clips like this are a useful reminder that good people live behind these iron curtains and are fighting for freedom. They deserve our support, not a summary dismissal due to their zip code.
Great clip of a great American.

Can't speak for other areas but here in Louisiana the local Democrats, with exception of New Orleans mayor, are going out of their way to distance themselves from the Lefties in the Democratic part.

And people said, after President Trump's election in 2016, that it was the Republican party that was going to be divided and wither on the vine. Little did they know...

Unfortunately, the flip side is that I know quite a few (primarily older) Ds who refuse to acknowledge that the Democratic Party of 2020 isn't the Democratic Party of 1980, and that these aren't the relatively conservative Southern Democrats of the mid/late 1900s.
Yet they still vote D because they've always voted D, and their parents always voted D, with no desire to recognize how things have changed.

True but you can say that of the R party as well, anti trumpers, mccainers, we have plenty of problematic members in the R party as well.
