Someone else tried that argument with me - that the record amounts of drugs being caught are an indication that the administration is effective. I asked them if you've been fighting cockroaches and see you've been killing more, does that mean you're being effective especially with the record number of fentanyl deaths?

I have LEO family who works on drug related crimes and I can assure you with 100% confidence that there is no control of the drugs at the border. None at all. We may catch some of it but we're not stemming any kind of tide.

The problems, sources and issues are very simple but our response is nonsense and very ineffective due to DC politics.

In a nutshell, China agreed to throttle back on the importation of Fentanyl directly into the US through the ports and airport. Instead, they redirected the sale and raw materials to our corrupt neighbor to the south - Mexico.

Mexico is as corrupt as can be and with the cartels buying off politicians and local LEO, they can move product up from the order at will.

Once at the border, the cartels are playing a cat and mouse or diversion game with us. They direct immigrants to flood the border in certain areas which causes us to shift resources there and that leaves other areas unprotected for the immigrants to be mules.

Or they have immigrants cross through other regions with dope and hope they don't get caught. Some do and some don't.

It's farce to say the WH is running a robust drug interdiction business. Someone dies every 5 mins from an OD and Fentanyl deaths are skyrocketing. Blame China who is more than happy to see us destroy ourselves from the inside out.

It’s scary, but I truly believe democRATs are perfectly fine with it as long as their side wins. Blabbermouth Biden tells a lie almost as often as he opens his mouth, and it is universally ignored by them. The end justifies the means, as long as they benefit.
