My GF just got offered a chance to download and review this. It's supposedly available from Amazon, but I'm suspicious of unsolicited offers such as this.

Anybody know about this? Legit or phishing?

Rule to live by, afaic: Never accept/click on anything unsolicited online.

Yeah, I told her that rule to live by, but she's still tempted. It supposedly connects to the Amazon listing, but adds that she's being invited to "be part of a test", implying it's free. Amazon charges after you do the download if you want to see content.

Sounds deceptive to me.

It is very rare that I’ll even bother reading to see what the scam is. If it sounds to good to be true…

And even the supposedly legit ones are looking to sell you something on the backside, or more likely “give” you a 90 days free offer then start auto charging you when you have (they hope) forgotten to cancel it.

Thanks for the input! She's now more aware of the potential bait-and-switch, but it's quite a temptation dangling TC out there. We watched him on Fox, to the point where I seriously considered dumping Fox after they dumped TC.

It’s easy enough to search for Tucker content on the intertubes.

I did as well. FOX has not been allowed on any television in my home since they dumped Tucker.

Yeah, unsolicited offers like that are usually a red flag. If it's not something you were expecting or actively searching for, it’s best to steer clear.
