I've been taking "one a day," flax seed, fish oil, and vitamin d (per doctors order). What do you take?

rburgI take B3, per the doctors instructions. Back when I started, I was taking 1 a day. Then he still wasn't happy and told me to take 2 a day. The big jug of them was fairly cheap, so I complied. I have no idea if it helps me or not.

P-220Men's Vitafusion. My Doc recommended I take a multi-vitamin when I turned 50. I have been taking them for 9 years and I have no complaints.
Can I say it gives me that extra boost every day that I need to start my day? No. But Doc is happy with my blood work, so I am reluctant to change my diet or exercise routines.

architectDoc tells me: Thera-M+B1+Fish Oil, I wouldn't take any of them without the Dr's. order. Having run out of one or another for months-long stretches at times, none seem to make a difference in my numbers. Excessive B1 makes my hair and nails grow like Sasquatch on steroids which may or may not be a good thing.
And, for God's sake! It isn't a "shake" unless it has ice cream and milk in it! Call it a "smoothie" if you must, but please, a little respect for the sugar and fat.

bronshtI take V3 and calcium due to loss of 2 parathyroids. Recently my lab tests showed me deficient in iron and B12 so I take B12 once per day and an iron pill once a week. Will have blood test tomorrow to check on the latter two. I also started taking 250 units of C 3 times a day just in case. I'm near 72. Sometimes I add turmuric and cumin to my cooking.
