YellowJacketRussell Moccasin are the cream of the crop upland hunters.
I have a 20 year old pair of Gore Tex Irish Setters that I still love but I don’t put the miles on them you do. They’ve been great from the Georgia piney woods to SoDak snowy corn fields. Similar to the link above but mine have Cordura upper panels for lightness and breathability.

220-9erI’ve had good luck with Keens for the last several years.
They’re supportive, comfortable and last.
The tread seems to have good grip and all the surfaces I been on.

sjtillI like the Merrill Moab boots; they have a GoreTex liner so are waterproof. If you don't want waterproof, get the Vent model.
These newer lightweight boots are great because they do not require break-in.
