Raised Hands Surround Us Three Nails To Protect Us |
Trying to figure out all the odds and ends of this new mobile. Suburban has the Navigation system and On my drive home nothing was signed up for Navigation worked just fine but it did not get traffic info or reroute me for dead traffic. Highway was shut down and had to use my phone for the reroute. I pushed the traffic button and it said it needed a Sirius subscription for for traffic updates. Later on I remembered the salesman told me to call Onstar to activate my 30 free trial. I did that when I was almost home. After activating I got construction notifications but never ran into anymore traffic so not sure if traffic was covered with OnStar or not. SiriusXM site says $5 a month for 12 months OnStar says $10 a month for connected Navigation with real time traffic updates. Really only need traffic when we travel so I would only pay $10 for whatever month we are traveling in. We usually do 3 trips a year so $30. But if Sirius provides traffic updates as well. I am good with having traffic all year and the added music for $60 for the whole year. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. I will be your brother, and I'll hold your hand. You should know I'll be there for you!

My Nissan Titan is through Sirius. They will turn it on for free every once and a while. I'm not real impressed with it. I wouldn't pay for it. Waze and Google maps is much better.
