You all know I am not afraid to post my negative experiences with USPS and UPS.

Well, this is not a bitch, so I did not place it in "What's Your Deal".

I have been watching an auction for three pens a dealer in Chicago has listed.

Thursday morning, the price was lowered and I pulled the trigger.

My hope was it would arrive by Christmas, as a present from one of my Children.

My winning offer was confirmed Thursday morning while at work.

My pkg. was delivered at 2:10 Friday afternoon.

Ok, does Top Gun Supply now own a Jewelry store in Chicago? Smile

In all seriousness, Hats off to the Seller and to UPS for an incredible transaction and delivery, during peak season.

As a bonus, the pens are LNIB, just as advertised.

Credit goes more to the seller than UPS. You won in the morning, he shipped it out pronto, obviously by overnight. So, UPS simply fulfilled their obligation of the O/N delivery.

I did not pay close attention to the shipping costs, it was a flat $5.99.

I left the best possible feedback for the Seller who was already 99.8% +

It came from a Jeweler in Chicago, I live 20-25 minutes West of downtown Cincinnati.

I still cannot believe it.

My UPS guy is great. A motorcyclist and gun guy. Will actually engage in a brief chat with me before he stands on the gas pedal and roars out of my driveway. I wish he would deliver the mail, too!

Not so pleased over here. "Patiently" waiting for a pair of Louboutini shoes that were supposed to be delivered yesterday and now just says a deliver date will be updated when available.
Not encouraging...
