Crocs
I wear Klogs on shift very comfy and better support. Like these but in black http://www.zappos.com/p/klogs-...ct/8618326/color/278.

My wife wears the lady version and got me a pair for work one year and I'm sold.

I wear them at work in the OR.
- comfortable
- polyurethane construction makes clean up easy and they don't get wet and smelly
- vents keep my feet cool/dry
- slip on and can be further secured with ankle straps
- lightweight

The main con I've found is that because they act as insulators, I tend to end up discharging massive static charges when touching door handles.

I've never been able to get used to Crocs due to the fact that when they get wet, my feet slide every which way in them. I wear Keen Newports year round, even in sub-freezing temps (unless there's more than a few inches of snow on the ground) so it's an unneeded niche needing filled anyway. If I can't tak off running in them on a moments notice, any footwear is undesirable to me.

I have 3 pair of Croc golf shoes, two are this style. They have newer styles, if you can get them. Very comfortable for walking and long-lasting also.

Good thread timing. I have a pair of Keen water shoes that I slip on every day as soon as I get home from work that are finally on their last leg. I was debating getting another pair or trying something new. This style looks really good and comfortable - they are a little cheaper on Amazon, I may have to pick up a pair and give them a try.

My wife bought me a pair of the fleece lined Crocs to wear around the house. I thought they were ugly and refused to wear them. Until I needed to run to the truck one night and slid them on. Now I wear them all the time. Lined in the winter, plain in the summer. I think I have 4-5 pairs of the damned things. Smile

They ARE very comfy. I used to wear them in the ICU BUT they will slip out from under you on slick Operating room floors without warning.

Ask me how I know. I went to using Keen slip on sandle/clogs with a closed footbox in the OR and they have Very good grip and almost as comfy.

I have two pairs of 'traditional' Crocs for around the house or quick runs out to gas up the cars or something.

They are definitely comfortable and convenient, but I need be very careful with them on wet / smooth concret, like my garage, as their traction then goes to zero / very slippery.

I thought Crocs were heinous, but then I became friends with a LSU fan who wears purple and gold LSU crocs

I use them when I need go out in the yard and don't feel like tying my shoes but the buttons that hold the straps on rub my ankles raw.

Have 3 pairs including the fleece lined ones. Been wearing them for the past 20 years. Could care less what anyone thinks about the "look", they're the most comfortable footwear I've ever found....and I'm totally into comfort.

My boys love to wear Crocs. I am concerned they are not supportive enough for their feet and ankles as they grow.

I resisted for many years. No way was I gonna wear those goofy looking things.

A bout with plantar fasciitis changed my mind. Crocs brought me relief and I learned to like them.

Considering but need some clarification because I'm not as agile as I used to be.

Are crocs slippery on wet floors or not. Seems like there are conflicting experiences above. I need good traction, always.

I know what you mean. When I look here and at reviews online, I got that same mixed messages.

For me, they are great on wet floors. I wear the Specialist.

That explains recent zaps after getting home and opening the car door. A finger on the door got shocked a few times and I could still feel it almost 10 min later.

My wife and daughters have Crocs, but I never had a desire for them. Anytime my wife is at home, the Crocs go on.

I thought it was strange that many jails use them for their prisoner footwear. I have no idea if they are Croc brands, but they are the exact style.

Okay, bought my first ever pair. I bought the ones that look like Sperry Topsiders -- Shaw Boat with dark brown leather upper.

Pretty comfortable and light so far. Haven't worn them outside yet. $20 at the Croc store (on sale) - I figure it's worth a try.

Yeah, the newer ones don't look like oversized toddler shoes. I just saw them the other day while browsing for flip flops for a beach vacation.
