Blinds.com. Blindster.com. Who has used these companies? I work for a company that can get name brand blinds. My cost on this would 40 to 60 percent more than what I could get them from these companies at cost plus 10 percent. To good to be true, or have they figured something out.

I recently looked for custom blinds. I learned that Home Depot has a contract with or is blinds.com.

Going through Home Depot, I could beat the blinds.com price.

I am a blind manufacturer in California.

Price should't be the only factor in your decision. Support for the product down the road adds value.

Strings and springs break over time. I don't care what brand it is.

I think Blinds.com factories are over in Turkey or some place like that.

You should give a local window covering dealer a call too. I like to support the local economy.

What type of window coverings are you looking for ?

I am a commercial window treatment contractor located in the Atlanta area.

I'd be happy to offer my wares to all my cyberbuddies. Keep in mind, we're not retailer, so I don't carry all the products you'd normally for residential application. Commercially it's pretty much limited to blinds and shades. Of course that's the lion's share of the residential market too. Email is in profile, shoot me quantities and sizes, I think you'll find the sigforum discount is better than any other you might find floating around the internets nowadays. ;-)

When we built our house 20 years ago, American Blind was the big Internet dealer. Everyone was raving about getting Hunter Douglas blinds for half the price. We jumped on board. They looked OK for a few years, and then started breaking. Cords, gears, etc.

We've been gradually replacing them with REAL Hunter Douglas from a local dealer. Unbelievable difference in quality. Obviously, not cheap.
