Multitool recs, please
I'm in the market for a multitool for range use.

It will ride in a belt pouch or in the range bag. Doesn't need to be too huge or too small. Definitely want one that will be the most useful for gun-related stuff (philips, flat head, hex driver, if possible).

I know nothing about multitools aside from Leatherman, and even then I don't really know which one to get.

Suggestions?

Leatherman Wave with bit kit and don't look back. Carry it every day with my bit kit in my laptop case. Use it at least 4-5 times a week.

I have a black Wave in my range bag, but honestly I use my MultiTasker Twist more

And when it comes to need a wrench of some kind, I have a KNIPEX Tools 6" Pliers Wrench in my bag as well. Those 2 (wrench and MultiTasker Twist) get far more use than the LeatherMan Wave (which is a great tool).

Leatherman all the way. I have several but EDC a Wingman. Good selection of features and if you lose it, it is less stress inducing than losing a high end model.

This.

I have a couple of multitools and this is the one I EDC. I have found it to be the most useful and versatile.

I have been carrying a multi-tool since 1990, when I purchased my first Leatherman.

I have had Leatherman, SOG, Buck, Gerber, Swiss Army and a couple of no-names.

All have been very good, but one stood above the rest.

I have 3 Leatherman Waves.

For me, the Wave has been the best option.

I have several eatherman's. The Wave is great, but the MUT is what is in my range bag.
