Two thieves in Tennessee demanded an elderly woman pray with them on Feb. 9 as they robbed her in church, authorities said.

The incident occurred at about 6 p.m. at Hilldale Baptist Church, and the pair took the 78-year-old woman's wallet, investigators with the Clarksville Police Department said.

Both suspects are women, and footage shows the pair sitting beside the elder woman in the pew and starting a conversation.

One of the thieves "requested the victim pray with her," public information officer Scott Beaubien said.

"While they were praying, the second female rummaged through the victim's purse and stole her wallet," Beaubien said.

"The suspects attempted to use the victim's credit cards at Sam’s and Kroger's shortly thereafter."

Animals like these don’t belong in civilized society. I hope the camera footage is enough to make an identification. Show it on every news station, offer a reward, and someone will roll over on them.

A gypsy woman, I had arrested for a similar deed at an old lady‘s home was one of the very few gypsies to ever give me „honest“ answers to my questions.

I asked her why she would do this to an old lady, as she would have old and helpless relatives herself.

That gypsy woman explained to me, that all elderly gypsy relatives are guarded and protected within their family clans, whereas we „gadjes“ (= non-gypsies) tend to live alone and without the family‘s guidance and protection. She said „If you choose to live alone, you better be able to take care of yourself, otherwise you‘re fair game“.

Certain societies only think within their clan‘s or tribe‘s limits, they see everyone outside of it as potential enemies and won‘t respect anything but their own rules. That‘s why there can‘t be any working democracy established in certain countries.
