Christmas Dinner - What is everyone having?
Just now started to smoke aka double-smoke since it was already cooked spiral cut ham.
Maple-Bourbon rub with maple injection.

This year will be beef tenderloin on the big green egg, roasted brussles sprouts, green bean casserole, roasted fingerling potatoes and a red wine sauce. Christmas cookies for dessert, the recipes for which go back generations to Norway (via Bay Ridge, Brooklyn). Amals, I’ll stack our cookies against yours any day! Big Grin

Peppercorn crusted beef tenderloin with buttery garlic mashed spuds, bacon and parmisaan green beans, rolls and a Ceasar salad. A nice Pinot. Someone else can sort out dessert

22 pound Turkey, 8 pound Ham, Corn casserole, Green beans, Mashed Potatoes, Sweet potatoes and marshmallows, Hot rolls, Bread dressing, Home made Cranberry/Orange sauce, Spinach dip, Fruit Salad, Deviled eggs, Pumpkin and Apple pies, Selected Red and White wines, Egg nog.

My wife and I carried over a tradition from my Mom's house: Sliced roast beef simmering in its own juice all day. Couple loaves of bread. Mustard. Cheesy potatos. Deviled eggs. Shrimp. Olives. Crackers and spread. Other stuff. It just sits out all day and you graze at will Smile

Not going to go nuts cooking this year going it alone, but...

Bacon wrapped pork tenderloin with honey-teriyaki glaze

Brussels sprouts with balsamic vinegar and Pancetta

Mashed potatoes

Just enough to piss everyone at work tomorrow with my leftovers...

Being Jewish, Christmas eve, by law, is Chinese Food. Christmas dinner will be turkey and loads of other choices at my brother's home.

I'm at work today also, but we have a full kitchen here at the PD. I have a honey and brown sugar glazed ham in a slow cooker, green bean and cheesy hash brown casseroles in the oven, should all be done in about an hour. Pumpkin pie for desert.
