Tgrshrk99This year will be beef tenderloin on the big green egg, roasted brussles sprouts, green bean casserole, roasted fingerling potatoes and a red wine sauce. Christmas cookies for dessert, the recipes for which go back generations to Norway (via Bay Ridge, Brooklyn). Amals, I’ll stack our cookies against yours any day!

You shouldn't, I made one on Saturday, now turkey time. My mom can't eat beef due to tick born illness.

ensigmaticMy wife and I carried over a tradition from my Mom's house: Sliced roast beef simmering in its own juice all day. Couple loaves of bread. Mustard. Cheesy potatos. Deviled eggs. Shrimp. Olives. Crackers and spread. Other stuff. It just sits out all day and you graze at will
