Buying land in Tennessee!

beltfed21Buying land in Tennessee!
I’ve held off on announcing this until the permit for septic was issued. Got it tonight. We (Mrs Beltfed and I) are scheduled to close Monday on 9.3 acres total. Mostly rolling pasture along with one acre of timber. The land is approximately 20 miles south west of Clarksville. Water & power at the road.
We don’t plan to build right away. Helping support my 92 year old Father here, and there’s no way we could get him to move with us. Both of us are really looking forward to getting down there though!

Which state are you evacuating from?
After my mom is gone, we are looking at TN, FL or TX.

Way to go. I certainly envy you. I would love to escape as well, and I think Tennessee is a great place.

I got you. When you travel North to check out Kentucky, Paducah is nice. Stay out of Hopkinsville. It’s infested with carjackings and shootings. Bowling Green is nice too.

Know what having safe sex means in Tennessee?
She's already pregnant.
Welcome!
At least you are east of the river and didn't end up in West TN!
Endeavor to persevere. February 24, 2021, 05:45 AM

My wife and I own 3.5 acres in the mountains of north east Tennessee.
This will hopefully be for our retirement someday.

FredwardDid you know the toothbrush was invented in Tennessee? In any other state, they would have called it the teeth brush.

flesheatingvirusI was raised in TN and my folks still live in Smyrna. Beautiful place. I miss the food, especially the hot fried chicken.
Only thing I don't miss is the humidity.
